Project Overview
John Flowers Roofing Ltd is delivering a large scale re roofing framework in partnership with Darlington County Council. The £3 million project spans 18 months and covers multiple phases of works to council and social housing properties across Darlington.
The Solution
The project includes a wide range of roofing services such as full re roofing, roofline and rainwater goods installation, flat roofing, structural roof repairs and asbestos handling. The Santof system has been used across the works, alongside concrete tiles, dry fix systems and breather membranes to improve durability, ventilation and long term weather protection.
To minimise disruption to residents in occupied homes, the works are being delivered in phased programmes, allowing essential services to remain accessible while maintaining strict safety procedures throughout the project.
The Result
The framework is improving the durability, safety and appearance of housing across the area while providing long lasting roofing solutions designed to reduce future maintenance requirements.
