Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a dependable and professional driver who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence essential
- Valid CPC qualification essential
- Digital tachograph card essential
- Previous experience in a similar driving role preferred
- Good knowledge of transport regulations and road safety
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Ability to carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills

Key Responsibilities:
The Class 2 Driver will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Transporting materials, equipment, and plant safely between depots and sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects
- Ensuring loads are secured correctly and safely
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Adhering to all road traffic laws and transport regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
- Supporting site and yard teams where required
- Following all company health and safety procedures
