Yard Operative

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-organised yard. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Previous yard or warehouse experience (preferred)
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of construction materials and tools (preferred)
Remuneration:

Key Responsibilities:
The Yard Operative will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Receiving, checking, and organising deliveries
- Preparing and loading materials and equipment for site teams
- Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
- Assisting with manual handling and movement of materials
- Carrying out basic checks on equipment before it goes to site
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting general yard and depot duties as required
