At F&I Group, supporting our colleagues and our community is something we care deeply about. Recently, members of our team took on the well known 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for a cause that means a great deal to one of our own.
The challenge involved climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales. It was a demanding test of endurance, teamwork and determination, but our team was motivated by something far more important than reaching the summits.
Climbing for a Cause
The challenge was inspired by our colleague Adam, whose son was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Wanting to show support for Adam and his family, members of the F&I Group team decided to take on the 3 Peaks Challenge and raise funds to support research and help those living with the condition.
Type 1 diabetes is a lifelong condition that requires constant management, and ongoing research is vital in improving treatments and support for those affected.
Exceeding Our Fundraising Goal
Our initial fundraising target was £2,000. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we are proud to say that the final total reached £3,470.
This fantastic result was made possible through a combination of online donations and cash contributions from friends, colleagues and supporters who wanted to help make a difference.
Every donation contributes to vital research and support for people living with diabetes, helping to improve lives now and in the future.
A Huge Thank You
Taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge was no small task, but the encouragement and support we received along the way made a huge difference. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared the fundraiser or cheered the team on.
The generosity shown by our network demonstrates just how powerful collective support can be.
