Class 2 Wagon Driver
Ingleford Scaffolding Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Class 2 Wagon Driver. This role plays an important part in supporting our scaffolding operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment to and from site across the North East.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dependable and professional driver who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence essential
• Valid CPC qualification essential
• Digital tachograph card essential
• Previous experience in a similar driving role preferred
• Experience working within construction or scaffolding environments preferred
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
• Ability to carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills
Remuneration:
Details regarding wages will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
The Class 2 Wagon Driver will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Delivering and collecting scaffolding materials to and from sites
• Ensuring loads are secured safely and comply with regulations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Assisting with loading and unloading of scaffolding equipment
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Adhering to all road traffic laws and transport regulations
• Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working condition
• Supporting yard and site teams where required
• Following all company health and safety procedures
