Solar PV Electrician
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Renewable Energy installer based in Washington, North East. We cover all of the North East, although most of our work is within a 30-mile catchment area from the office we could on the odd occasion go further.
We install on residential properties both retrofit and new build with occasional commercial work therefore knowledge of both single phase and three phase would be advantageous.

About the Role:
The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a combination of qualities including:
- Experience in Solar PV & Battery Storage (essential)
- City and Guilds 2372 & Level 3 or Equivalent
- Inspection and Testing (preferred)
- 18th Edition (preferred)
- Working at Heights (training can be offered)
- Full, clean driving license (required)
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Friendly and professional manner, with good presentational, organisational and people management skills
- Have strong attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of a solar PV electrician, including:
- Electrical installation of Solar PV, and Battery Storage Systems
- Installation of EV Chargers
- Installation of energy monitoring
- Installation of three phase distribution boards, metal trunking and armoured cables associated with repowering larger sites to benefit from solar PV and battery storage
- The role will include training an electrical apprentice and supervising other work associated with the installation of solar PV systems
- Assisting with other tasks associated with the installation of solar PV
