Project Overview
The Daysh Building, constructed in 1968, was originally designed to accommodate 13 departments including languages, law and geography. The building required a new roofing solution to improve drainage performance and long term protection.
The Solution
A Bauder Blue Roof SUDS system was installed. This sustainable drainage solution is designed to manage stormwater on flat roofs and is particularly effective in flood sensitive areas.
As part of the works, the existing solar panels were carefully removed prior to installation and reinstated once the new roofing system was complete.
The Result
The completed system provides effective stormwater management while protecting the building with a durable flat roofing solution. The reinstated solar panels ensure the building can continue benefiting from renewable energy.
