Project Overview
The Northumbrian Water reservoir in Kielder, opened in 1982, was developed as a sustainable water source to support the local economy in one of England’s most remote villages.
Ingleford Scaffolding Ltd worked with Northumbrian Water to provide safe access for roofing works on the reservoir’s office building.
The Solution
A temporary roof scaffold system was designed and installed to allow the re roofing works to take place while protecting the offices below. As the area beneath the roof contained valuable computer equipment, the temporary roof ensured the works could proceed without risk of weather damage.
The Result
The scaffold system provided full protection for the building during the roofing works, allowing the project to be completed safely while safeguarding critical equipment inside the offices.
