Project Overview
Ingleford Scaffolding Ltd supported the restoration of the historic Seaton Delaval Hall, working in partnership with Historic Property Restoration Ltd. As a Grade I listed property and home to the UK’s largest colony of bats, the project required careful planning to protect both the building and its surrounding ecology.
The Solution
Our team installed a fully designed freestanding scaffold system both internally and externally to allow refurbishment and replacement of the hall’s historic windows. The scaffold was carefully planned to ensure safe access while maintaining ecological protection measures. A temporary disabled access ramp was also constructed to allow visitors to continue accessing the site during the works.
The Result
The access solutions enabled restoration works to take place safely while the site remained open to the public, supporting the preservation of one of the region’s most significant heritage buildings.
