Project Overview
Ingleford Scaffolding Ltd was appointed by Northumberland Council to provide specialist scaffolding support to the front elevation of a building on Bridge Street in Blyth. The works were required to stabilise the structure and prevent potential collapse during ongoing construction activity.
The Solution
Due to the narrow pathway along Bridge Street, our team designed a bespoke scaffold system tailored to the restricted space while maintaining structural stability and safe access for the works.
Close coordination with local authorities was required to maintain public safety, including adjustments to traffic management and the relocation of traffic lights to allow safe pedestrian access while the scaffold was in place.
The Result
The scaffold system provided the necessary structural support and safe working access throughout the project. Regular inspections ensured the structure remained secure, allowing the works to progress safely while minimising disruption to the surrounding area.
