Project Overview
Langley First School in Whitley Bay required scaffolding to support roofing works on the building. Ingleford Scaffolding Ltd worked with North Tyneside Council to design a safe and efficient access solution for the project.
The Solution
A bespoke scaffold system featuring a rolling roof design was installed to provide both safe access and fall protection while the roofing works were carried out. The rolling roof allowed the scaffold to move progressively along the building, removing the need for continuous dismantling and re erection during the project.
The Result
The rolling roof system improved efficiency and safety throughout the works, allowing roofing to be completed seamlessly while ensuring the scaffold only needed to be removed once at the end of the project.
