Project Overview
Ingleford Scaffolding Ltd worked with Lumsden and Carroll on a project at the Ouseburn River in Newcastle. The works required specialist access to allow the replacement of existing gabion baskets along the river.
The Solution
A bespoke, fully designed hanging scaffold system was installed to provide safe access to the bottom of the river. Due to tidal conditions, parts of the scaffold became completely submerged at times, making the installation particularly challenging.
The Result
The specialist scaffold system provided secure and reliable access, allowing the client to safely and efficiently complete the gabion basket replacement during the six week project.
