Project Overview
F&I Group delivered a comprehensive roofing and refurbishment project at the Peterlee Pathways Respite Centre, a live facility supporting vulnerable people. The works were carefully planned to ensure the centre could remain fully operational throughout the 10 week programme.
The Solution
The project involved installing a full Marley guaranteed roofing system using Mendip tiles, alongside several associated works delivered by different F&I Group companies. Ingleford Scaffolding Ltd provided bespoke access solutions, including manual scaffold installation in restricted areas. Flowing Energy Solutions installed integrated solar panels to improve energy efficiency, while Flowing Asbestos safely removed identified asbestos materials. John Flowers Flat and Industrial Roofing Ltd also carried out new flat roof dormer installations.
The Result
Through close coordination between the teams and daily site supervision, the project was delivered safely and efficiently with minimal disruption to the centre. The works demonstrate the strength of collaboration across the F&I Group in delivering complex projects within sensitive live environments.
