Project Overview

Flowing Construction Services Ltd completed a large scale asbestos removal project at the former Swan Hunter site in Wallsend. The works were carried out in preparation for demolition, ensuring the site was safely cleared of hazardous materials.

The Solution

Working with G O’Brien & Sons Ltd, our team removed thermal insulation residues and asbestos contaminated debris from walls, columns, ceilings and floors. The works included a full fine clean and completion of the required four stage clearance process to ensure the area met strict safety and compliance standards.

The Result

Over the 12 week programme, the project was delivered safely and efficiently despite the size and complexity of the site. The works achieved a 100 percent ACAD score during an unannounced site audit, highlighting the team’s commitment to safety, quality and industry best practice.
